One of my dearest friends and brothers was attacked outside of a wedding reception. Witnesses directly related to the assailant told police that my friend provoked the attack, however other witnesses gave an opposite story which more closely coincides with the friend that I knew and loved! Jef is my friend and brother and I have known him for almost 20 years. He never once in his life provoked any kind of physical confrontation with anyone. Unfortunately the police decided to not charge the assailant, even though he fled the scene (they had to track him down to a hotel), they never once checked him for drugs or alcohol and are now trying to say that my brothers death was "probably the result of a pre-existing condition". However doctors have disagreed with the police in this matter. We cannot stand to allow a small town cover up to happen. I am asking you to please, please help to at least make the police perform a real investigation into this crime! My brother is dead and I am heading down there at the end of the week to perform my own investigation. Wish me luck!
